FAQ

1. How to register for Triathlon Support Ukraine online?

1) Choose a course on the event website

2) Click “Register”

3) Enter your login and password to log into your personal profile (if you have participated in our events before)

4) Click “Enter”

Please, notice! If you haven’t participated in our events before, you will have to click “Register” and provide your personal information. We will email you your login and password to access your personal profile if your registration is successful.

2. How can I make the payment?

According to the “Rules of Run Ukraine 2022”, the race participants pay the entry fee by electronic payment on the organizer’s website.

The payment service is provided by the Interbank system of electronic invoice delivery and payment  Portmone.com using a modern and secure payment card authorization mechanism. Payment card details are entered on the Portmone.com website in a secure mode and are not available to employees.

3. Where will the registration money be sent?

50% of the amount of each registration fee (excluding the cost of the T-shirt) and each additional contribution will be donated to charity. The purpose of the charity campaign is to help the Kharkiv Perinatal Center to purchase a modern phototherapy lamp for newborns. The funds will be donated to the fundraising platform dobro.ua as a contribution to the Triathlon Support Ukraine online project.

4. When does the registration end?

Registration of participants is open from 5.07.2022 to 24.07.2022.

5. How long will the challenge last?

The Triathlon Support Ukraine online competition will be held from 18.07.2022 to 7.08.2022.

6. Where and when a challenge will be held?

Each participant chooses a day, time, route, and place of their training independently.

7. Is it possible to train indoors to participate in competitions (swim in apool, ride an exercise bike, run on a track)?

Yes, indoor training is taken into account in the rating with certain coefficients.

Swimming: training recorded in the pool is accepted with a reduction coefficient of 0.75 to the total distance.

Bicycle: training, performed on an exercise bike, is accepted at the rate of 1 hour equal to 40 km.

Running: the results of all recorded training outdoors and indoors are accepted.

8. In which program should I record my tracks?

During registration, Participants submit a link to their profile in the Strava training tracking program. The profile has to be open for viewing and contain complete information about training (swimming, cycling, running) during the competition.

9. Should I send my race results?

It is not necessary to send the results. The results for forming the rankings will be taken from the profile in Strava, which is indicated during registration.

ATTENTION! All Participant tracks have to be recorded on one account at Strava training tracking program. All Team member tracks have to be recorded in the individual accounts of each team member in the Strava training tracking program.

10. How many participants has to be in a team?

Mixed teams consisting of two or three participants (men and/or women) are allowed to participate in team competitions. Each member of the team chooses a discipline (swimming, cycling or running) in which to send the results of training to be added to the team standings. All team members have to participate in team competitions.

11. Is it possible to participate in individual and team competitions at the same time?

Yes, a participant can participate in both individual and team competitions, and training can be duplicated.

12. How will the rating in disciplines be formed?

The rating of Participants is made in each discipline depending on the number of kilometers covered, in total based on the provided tracks during the race period from 18.07 to 7.08.2022.

13. How will the overal rating be formed?

The overall rating is based on the athletes’ position in the disciplinary ratings (swimming, cycling, running), and elevation rating in cycling and running.

14. Which training are taken into account?

Swimming: the results of all recorded training in open water are accepted. Training recorded in the pool are accepted with a reduction coefficient of 0.75 to the total distance.

Bicycle: the results of all recorded training outdoors are accepted. Training, performed on an exercise bike, are accepted at the rate of 1 hour equal to 40 km.

Running: the results of all recorded training outdoors and indoors are accepted.

15. How will the training points be calculated?

The Participant with the highest score receives 1 point, from the second to the last place Participants receive on 1 point more than the result of the previous Participant.

If the Participants show the same result, then each of the Participants with the same result is awarded the same number of points, after that the Participants begin to count according to the ordinal number, for example: 1,1,3,4…

The overall rating of the Participants is determined by the lowest total result of all disciplines in the Race. The winner is the Participant who gets the lowest number of points.

16. Where will the competition results be published?

The results of the rating will be published on the official website of the Race – https://online.triathlonukraine.org/ and will be updated, if the tracks are available, on Monday and Friday till 23:00.

Each participant has to cover the minimum distance, it has to be at least a third part of the leader’s distance in each discipline. If the volumes are insufficient, the participant does not participate in the overall rating.

17. Is it possible to use cashback from a Run Ukraine account when registering for Triathlon Support Ukraine online?

No. Cashback does not apply to the Triathlon Support Ukraine online challenge, as it is a charity project.

18. Are there discounts for preferential categories for Triathlon Support Ukraine online?
